Shell Island, an undeveloped barrier island off Florida’s Emerald Coast, is called "Seaside Island". It measures 7 miles east to west. It is composed of graceful sand dunes as well as pine hammocks and shrub forest. Shorebirds and deer can call this inland lake home. The catamaran was very relaxing. I enjoyed watching the dolphins as well as snorkeling and paddleboarding. The staff was wonderful! We saw lots of dolphins, stingrays, and other marine life. While snorkeling was not a popular activity, there were still plenty of fish to be seen.
